To check the threads meet the standard depth. As shown in the video, tighten the pipe until the pipe cannot go in any further.Turn the nipple chuck to “release” position. NPT and BSPT are the normal screw threads for every types of threading dies. We also supply BSPP and Metric for RIDGID type threading dies, UNC threads can also be made as per your order. According to our test on 2” galvanized pipes, the Alloy threading dies can make around 300-400 threads, the HSS threading dies can make 800-1200 threads.
